The Team

The Internal Analytics team are a small sub team of the Finance and Operations team within Creditsafe Group.  At our core, we are commercial analysts whose primary responsibility is to produce insight to senior management team that helps support strategic decision making.

In recent year, our responsibilities have expanded to serving as the Business Owners, working the Business Intelligence team to produce and manage Power BI reports that are consumed by the operations across 16 different countries, with a goal of delivering a single source of truth on performance and customer insight reporting.  

Job Profile

We are seeking a data literate individual to join the team as a Reporting Product Owner.  The ideal candidate will have experience working within Azure Dev Ops, managing the full life cycle of sprints – from creating ADO’s, managing and prioritizing the backlog, creating Sprints and working with the Data Engineers team to ensure work is delivered to a timely and accurate manner.  The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing communications with the entities on new releases and bug fixes.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with operations to gather and refine requirements, quizzing non-technical users to turn plain English into technical requirements for BI team to action
• Write detailed requirements, epics and user stories to guide developers
• Be the main point of contact for data queries and access queries from across the organisation
• Work closely with stakeholders to prioritise data initiatives and communicate progress effectively.
• Working within Azure Dev Ops, manage backlog and create sprints through sprint planning sessions with the Data Engineering and BI team to agree on deliverables
• Test and feedback on work delivered – both on a dataset and report level, ensuring we are delivering user friendly and accurate data models and reports
• Where needed, contribute to the front end development of Power BI Reports using the published Semantic Models produced by the BI Team
  
  

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

•  Experience in developing Power BI models and reports
• Strong understanding of data warehousing, reporting tools and analytics methodologies – from a Kimball methodology is a bonus
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders and able to communicate technical concepts to business users
• Familiarity with Dynamics 365 CE and F&O are a plus but not essential
• Strong problem-solver
• Highly organized and self-motivated, able to manage workload effectively
